In 2005, Mirza appeared in Parineeta, a Vidhu Vinod Chopra production. In 2006 she teamed up once again with Chopra and Sanjay Dutt for the successful film Lage Raho Munna Bhai. She also played in the music video Kajara Mohabbat Wala from Sonu Nigam album Kajara Nite.
In 2006, she appeared in Lage Raho Munnabhai as the daughter of the conniving Boman Irani. Her acting was acclaimed. In 2007, she will appear in Apoorva Lakhia’s Shootout at Lokhandwala, where she will play the role of a reporter named Meeta Mattoo, who is the fictional representation of the actual reporter who covered the incident.
