If we have to think of one heroine who have took away Raveena’s ‘Jinxed’ tag, no one fits the bill like Diya. Once claimed to be next Aishwarya, the poor lass never even experienced a pinch of success.
When last heard, she was playing ‘Padmashree’, in Mahesh Manjrekar’s ‘Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav’. But bad luck for Diya is far from over. She has to make an unceremonious exit from the film starring Sunil Shetty, Johny Lever and Manjrekar himself.
The reason, an ego clash with the director when she refused to pander to his wishes. Soon after Diya’s exit, Mausmi made an entry ‘Chupke Se’ in to Diya’s shoes. Mausmi is Shona Urvashi’s sister and will be making her debut in Gulzar’s Chupke Se - co-starring Om Puri.
