She came to the scene with a lot of promise but disappeared after her first film Dil Diya Hai. But actor Geeta Basra does not quite agree that she had disappeared. The hotbod who made news not only for her steamy scenes but also for her acting potential in Dil Diya Hai is all excited about her forthcoming film The Train where she once again plays the protagonist.
“I had not disappeared but was busy shooting for The Train and I am really happy to play the protagonist again, only on my second film,” says Geeta.
The actor once again in this film plays the love interest of Emraan Hashmi, who was also her co-star in Dil Diya Hai but this time it’s not just a simple love story. The film’s plot also has a suspense angle to it.
“I play an glamorous urban girl who meets Emraan in a train and our affair starts. On the other hand Emraan is a married man. That’s why the film is called The Train,” says Geeta, who enjoys doing different kinds of roles.
