Kangna Ranaut, 20, has reportedly turned down a role in Rakesh Roshan’s next film Krazy 4, a comedy featuring an ensemble cast because Kangna did not find the role challenging enough.
“I won’t say I wasn’t tempted. Who doesn’t want to work with Mr Rakesh Roshan? I’d have been happy to be part of Krazy 4 because I am dying to do a comedy. Sadly there was little scope for me to perform,” says Kangna.
The lass from Bhambla, in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, who has been embroiled in several controversies in her two year Bollywood career added:
“When I expressed my misgivings Mr Roshan was very nice. Very different from some other filmmakers who turn nasty when you decline to do their films.”
Kangna made her debut with the film Gangster last year. The film did well and Kangna’s performance in it as Simran won critical acclaim and an award in just about all of the many Bollywood awards shows.
