Konkona Sen Sharma, born 3 December 1979 in New Delhi, India is an acclaimed National Award winning Indian actress. Sharma, who made her debut as a child artist in the film Indira, made her adult debut in Ek Je Aachhe Kanya (2000). She gained attention with the English film Mr. and Mrs. Iyer , and received the coveted National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film. Her appearance in the film Page gave her a wide recognition. Yesterday she present at some event to promote cotton bags. Cotton world,India’s first ever store dedicated to natural clothing,today launched a unique initiative.It has discontinued the use of plastic bags and introduced cloth carry bags. This way, around 200;000 plastic bags will be replaced by eco-bag at an event in mumbai today.
