While Preity and Bobby will be seen as the on-screen couple in the movie, Shaad was having a tough time casting an actress opposite Abhishek as Rani refused to do the role. Lara got lucky as Shaad happened to see her opposite Abhishek in ‘Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost’ and liked their chemistry to such an extent that he signed Lara for the mega movie.
Getting an entry into the talented Chopra’s camp is considered to be a big achievement as the renowned Chopras are known for recasting their stars in multiple mega-starrer projects.
