Lara Dutta gels well with Salman Khan
David Dhawan’s Partner is Lara Dutta’s first film with Salman Khan. Interestingly, Salman is not paired opposite real life girlfriend Katrina Kaif in this film. Infact, if insiders are to be believed, in the story of Partner it is Salman Khan who teaches Govinda how to “patao” Katrina. Now the plot sounds very familiar, just like the Hollywood hit Hitch. Scriptwriter Sanjay Chhel admits that the basic plot of the film has been lifted from Hitch.
“But the story has been changed to suit the taste of the Indian audience. David wanted to make this film a long time back with Govinda. Now with Govinda ready to make a comeback, David made Partner.” And those who have had a sneak peek of the film say that Lara and Salman share an excellent chemistry on screen. “Lara matches her dance movements step to step with Salman and the two look absolutely ravishing,” revealed a source.
