After the average performance of Mere Baap Pehle Aap at the box office, Priyadarshan has turned choosy with the star cast for his next project Billo Barber. The director allegedly wished to recreate the magic of Viraasat, Kala Pani and Hera Pheri with his all-time favourite actress Tabu. Unfortunately, date problems compelled her to turn down the offer. Coming in like an angel in disguise, Lara Dutta saved the director’s day by readily accepting the role of a firebrand village girl. Will the role prove she’s as good an actress as Tabu? We’re waiting to find out.
