The film has Mallika playing a stage actress. She enacts the role of Anarkali in a play. Mallika got so deeply involved in her character that she literally slipped into its skin and began behaving like Anarkali on the film’s sets.
The actress gave up saying “hi” and “hello” to the film’s cast and crew and began doing “aadaab” to everyone. Not just this, she often broke into impromptu kathak dances in between shooting breaks.
