The stage was set. A huge crowd had gathered. The awards were also ready to be given. But none of the nominees were eager to win. Strange but true.. But it was not just an ordinary award function. It was the occasion of Bingo Red FM Bajate Raho Awards 2007. Radio Jockeys Suresh Menon and Jose Covaco were the comperes for the evening. Suresh Menon entertained the crowd with his hilarious acts. He was seen mimicking cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and writer Javed Akthar.
Aarti Chaabria, Kashmira Shah, Bappi Lahiri, Mika Singh and Abhishek Awasti were the performers. Aarti Chaabria was seen dancing on the songs from her movie Shootout At Lokhadwala. Rakhi Sawant who was present to see her boyfriend Abhishek perform on stage, said, “I really enjoyed the awards. We were glad that we did not win any award.” Rakhi was wearing sandals of different colours. On the performance of Mika, with whom she had a kissing controversy in the past she said, “I am not happy that he is here. I am here only because of my close friends.” As soon as Mika started to perform, Rakhi and Abhishek took the exit gate.
