Nauheed started her career as a model, featuring in many music videos. Piya Basanti was her most memorable video, which brought her to the attention of Bollywood producers.
Originating from the ‘parsi’ family she has also appeared in many advertisements on television as well as the print media. She also played a small role in the youth-oriented television series Hip, Hip, Hooray. She also acted in a south indian movie called ‘Sakhia’ with Tarun which turned out to be flop.She made her film debut in Padam Kumar’s Supari, starring Uday Chopra and Rahul Dev. While the film flopped, director Vikram Bhatt chose her for Inteha opposite Ashmit Patel. More recently, Nauheed was seen as the main lead in choreographer turned director Ahmed Khan’s Lakeer, starring Sunny Deol, Sohail Khan, John Abraham and Sunil Shetty. Nauheed starts off 2007 with Anwar which is directed by Manish Jha, starring Manisha Koirala, Siddharth Koirala, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Hiten Tejwani.
