Nikita represented India at the 2003 Miss Universe Pageant in Panama City, Panama on June 3rd. To the dismay of Indians all over the world watching and following the pageant, she became the first sash-bearer to be kept out of the ten semi-finalists, breaking an eleven-year streak. Nonetheless, she did not let disappointment get the best of her, choosing instead to party the night away with her friends. These days she is busy in to present some Brand or in Some Events.
