She played the role of Bindiya Naik, a member of the Indian women’s national hockey team, in the sports-oriented movie Chak De India, starring Shahrukh Khan. Shilpa has also acted in award winning movies such as Khamosh Pani (International Title: Silent Waters) and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi.
