After winning Britain’s reality show “Big Brother“, Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty is inundated with marriage proposals but her mother Sunanda has no intentions of finding an English groom for her.

“Where do these things come from? Knowing my mom, do you think she would ever make a loose statement like that? My mom has better things to do than look for a groom for me. And right now marriage is the last thing on my mind,” Shilpa told.

But the actor, who has returned to Britain to complete her commitments, is relishing all the love and affection she is getting these days.

“For me, it’s such a feeling of pride as an Indian to be called out by name on the streets of London. My mom had predicted that one day I’d be world famous. Of course, all Bollywood actors are famous across the world. But this? I don’t believe it. I feel proud that an Indian is being given so much love and respect.”

Interestingly, Shilpa recently got a marriage proposal in the middle of a press meet at the House of Commons in London.
