Shruti Seth started her career with modelling but eventually moved to television. She has acted in many serials such as Kyon Hota Hai Pyarr and Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chaand. She is currently starring in Shararat with actress Farida Jalal.
Seth has starred in a few movies. She is probably best known for her role as Fatima “Fatty” in Fanaa (2006) with Aamir Khan and Kajol. She is set to star in Tara Rum Pum, produced by Yash Raj Films. The film is set to release in January 2007.
