Meet Shruti Hasan, the beautiful and multi-talented daughter of two powerhouse performers — Kamal Haasan and Sarik
When you inherit from an immaculate pool of talent, people naturally expect you to be as good or even better. And for someone like Shruti Haasan, hopes are sky high. The 21-year-old daughter of superstar Kamal Haasan and actor Sarika is obviously proud, even grateful, for her genes. “It would never be enough to say how much I have learnt from my parents,” says the multi-talented Shruti who is a singer, song-writer and plans to act too.
However, having just finished a course from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, she currently wishes to dwell on her dearest passion, music. “I’m thrilled that I can write my own music! I realised that this was the most effective way to communicate a part of myself to the world when I was much younger,” she says.
