Sweet Genelia at Mera Baap Pehle Aap premiere. A 55-year-old widower with two sons and a daughter-in-law seeks a suitable female to marry in this rollicky comedy by Priyadarshan. Mere Baap Pehle Aap stars Akshaye Khanna, Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Genelia D’Souza, Archana Puran Singh and Rajpal Yadav.

After Lagaan and Taare Zameen Par, “Jaane Tu .. ya jaane na” will be the Aamir Khan Production’s third release. The only difference is we won’t be seeing Aamir in it but instead, it will be launching his nephew Imran Khan. This movie also announces the return of Mansoor Khan who has been involved in major part of the production while Aamir was focusing on TZP. From the promos it seems like a simple love story but with Abbas Tyrewala having written and directed it, I am sure there is a lot more to this movie than just fluffy romance. This will be Abbas’s directorial debut after writing for several successful films like Munna Bhai MBBS, Maqbool and Main Hoon Na.

Genelia & Akshay at Mere Baap Pehle Aap Music Launch. Priyadarshan has teamed up with Akshaye Khanna once again. After making HUNGAMA and HULCHUL, the director and actor combo will be seen in yet another rib-tickling comedy MERE BAAP PEHLE AAP. Another interesting aspect of the film is that the director has signed powerful actors like Naseeruddin Shah and Shobhana along with Priyan regulars Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav and Manoj Joshi for the project in question. Genelia D’Souza, who made her debut opposite Ritesh Deshmukh in TUJHE MERI KASAM, is the leading lady of this film that’s produced by Shemaroo Entertainment P. Ltd.
