Tulip took up the Femina Miss India Contest in 2000 but, she couldn’t make up to enter the list of winners list. Many advertising agencies approaced her for their ad films after noting her at the contest. Tulip’s parests did not want her to act in films and advertisements but then she continued her carreer, as it gave her a place in the industry.
