Vijay Mallya launches Force India with Fisichella. Appropriately Mallya chose Mumbai, the city propelling India rapidly into the first world, as the launch site for his F1 project. The sport’s arrival will mean nothing to the denizens of Asia’s largest slum, Dharavi, also contained within Mumbai’s walls. The dispossessed are not Mallya’s target audience, though he believes that ultimately all will share in the proceeds derived from India’s burgeoning balance sheet.
